About Our Practice

Our comprehensive general dental care practice - located in Willowick for over 25 years - concentrates on family and cosmetic dentistry. We also emphasize preventive care and provide full service dentistry including: endodontics (root canal treatment), dentures (full and partial) and extractions (oral surgery). Our dental team members are extremely experienced and knowledgeable about dental health and all dental procedures such as porcelain veneers, implants, teeth whitening, and permanent crowns and bridges. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have at any time. Dr. Karfeld is a general dentist.

We always work hard to ensure that you feel welcome and well cared for during your visit with us. Whether you are in for a visit or accompanying someone, we hope you will appreciate all the extra amenities we have placed in our office to ensure your comfort.

We accept most insurance plans, and to make it even easier for you, we will submit your claims directly to your insurer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

Meet the Doctor - Howard Karfeld, DDS

Dr. Howard Karfeld was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his DDS degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed a residency in general dentistry at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Since moving to Northeast Ohio in 1977, he has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry with a focus on providing a comfortable dental experience. Dr. Karfeld is included in Consumers’ Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Dentists.” He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Northeast Ohio Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. He keeps up to date on all the latest dental techniques through continuing education courses.

Dr. Karfeld and his wife have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, visiting local attractions and traveling.

Our nine-member dental team is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable in the area, with several staff members who have worked in our office for over 10 years.
